Who are we

C.B. Charters is a coach service operating out of Picton in the South Island of New Zealand. It is owned by Tony and Gwenda Coia. Tony has been driving buses around Marlborough for about ten years after an early retirement from Mobil
Oil New Zealand Limited.

C.B Charters have two coaches, Nessie the Nissan with 45 seats and Molly the Mercedes a 37 seater. Both have air suspension so the ride is very smooth and comfortable and they both have air conditioning, CD and DVD/TV player for the longer trips. Both coaches are regularly serviced and maintained by Diesel Deliverance Blenheim who are very good.

Why these symbols on the coach?
The Italian flag because Coias come from Italy. The thistle as Tony was born and lived in Scotland. The kiwi because Tony has lived in New Zealand for over 30 years and Gwenda is a 4th generation New Zealander.

Our customers include Queen Charlotte College pupils and the first XV rugby team for the past six years, St Joseph School Picton, Marlborough Badminton trips to Invercargill and Dunedin, and the Chatham Islands School around the South Island once and through the North Island twice. Other charters include weddings, transport only from Picton to Blenheim and other places throughout the Marlborough District. Other trips include various social clubs to Christchurch, West Coast and Nelson.

C.B. Charters can help in arranging your mystery tour or scenic tour in Marlborough or anywhere else. Tony has acquired a good knowledge of the Marlborough area both in regards the wine industry and the history of Marlborough so commentary is given on all trips. He would be more than happy to assist compiling a tour to your needs. All quotes are free and both buses are available for inspection.
